Day 1: Arrive At Ha Noi

After settling in, take some time to unwind on your way and go through your plan with our host for the next several days.
Take a cyclo cycle around the busy Old Quarter to see Hanoi’s contrasting antique and contemporary beauty. Then, one of a kind welcome meal is waiting for your presence. You can spend the night in your favorite hotel.
Day 2: From Hanoi To Lao Cai
This is the day you can spend more time discovering the Ha Noi capital and move to Lao Cai to begin your looking-forward biking tour.
After a healthy, full breakfast, our guide will meet you at the lobby and take you on a tour of Hanoi, stopping at well-known historical sites.
But first, we will switch to our bike gear and study the safe cycling rules. More importantly, it is a Vietnamese transportation habit. You can have a chance to explore 36 old streets and Chợ Đồng Xuân by cycling back to the Old Quarter from Long Bien Bridge.
The 2nd’s dinner is at a neighborhood eatery. We are transported by shuttle bus to the railway station, where we board the overnight train to a famous province in Vietnam – Lao Cai province.
Day 3: From Lao Cai To Bac Ha
You will arrive at 5:30 am. Then, our support team will take you to a nearby restaurant to eat breakfast before changing into your cycling bicycle clothes.
After a delicious meal, we start pedaling along a beautiful route to Coc Ly. If we’re lucky, we might be able to attend the local market on Tuesdays while we’re in Coc Ly. The local market will catch your eyes at first sight of its uniqueness and color. We ride on a single track until we reach the Bao Nhai Bridge, where we pull off to see Bac Ha Town.

Day 4: From Bac Ha To Hoang Su Phi
We leave the hotel shortly after sunrise and ride to Lùng Phình before turning off the quiet path to Xín Mần.
We will have a mouth-watering picnic lunch here in the breathtaking landscape on the route. We bike downhill to Cốc Pài Town after lunch before riding downward to Hoàng Su Phì after completing the famous Heaven Gate Pass.
Stunning landscapes can be seen today, with stunning villages and people of Tay, H’Mong, and Nung. The 4th night of you will happen here, at amazing Hoang Su Phi, after a delectable dinner.
Day 5: From Hoang Su Phi To Ha Giang
Ha Giang has a community of nearly 700 000, is made up of 23 different ethnic groups, and has developed a vibrant culture and customs. Cyclists between Hoàng Su Phì and Hà Giang may enjoy one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking limestone peaks and spectacular rice terrace views. In addition, we stop for a brief trip to a local tribe’s village on a side road and afterward move to a guesthouse or hotel in Ha Giang.
There are some options for you. No matter where you choose, we believe that after a day of seeing breathtaking sights, you will have a beautiful dream full of peace in the majestic high mountains and fresh air here.
Day 6: From Ha Giang To Bac Me
Distance: 76 km
Please allow the 6th day of the journey, one of the most wonderful bike tours in Vietnam started. You can enjoy a nutritious hotel breakfast and rest for a few minutes before we take the chance to independently explore the area. Don’t rule out visiting the local market. In every region in Vietnam, the best way to quickly adapt to local people is to come to their market.
Next, we start cycling to Bắc Mê, ascend a 7-kilometer-long pass, eat lunch at the top, and then ride down a wavy road that brings us to Bắc Mê.
If time is allowed, we can explore the town’s marketplaces and everyday activities. Dining and lodging at the local hotel is a super pick after 6th day on the row cycling.
Day 7: From Bac Me To Bao Lac
We begin the challenging first five kilometers by climbing and then descending on an uneven path to Bảo Lạc village beside the Gâm River. The morning cycle trip will allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery and untainted nature.
When you are here, you can explore the Bảo Lâm local market to learn about the colorful, racially distinct group. After lunch, we will cycle to Bảo Lạc township.
Once there, check-in and then have some time to yourself to unwind or explore the town. You can eat supper at the hotel or wander around for local specialties.
Day 8: From Bao Lạc To Cao Bang
The hardest riding day of our journey and the most challenging path on vietnam mountain bike tours is the 8th day. We climb Pia Hoac’s top for 38 kilometers in a half-time day before traveling down on a tarmac route to Cao Bằng.
We will bike across a stunning limestone mountainous region and discover a remote place in a border area. After lunch on the road, we will approach Cao Bằng city. You will spend the night here.
After a long day of cycling, you will surely sleep extremely well.
Day 9: From Cao Bang To Ban Gioc
Biking in Cao Bằng is considered one of the best vietnam biking tours to see historical sites, diverse hill tribespeople, breathtaking landscape, and friendly locals.
After the morning meal, we set out on our ride thru the town and then over the bridge to reach Thác Bản Giốc (Ban Gioc Waterfall). Visitors will be astounded by the idyllic landscape, majestic mountains, and tranquil tribal communities.
Before down to Quảng Uyên township and continuing on an uneven route to Trùng Khánh town for lunch, you must climb the tough đèo Mã Phục (Ma Phuc Pass) for 7 kilometers. After lunch, we continue on a sloping route, through several Tày ethnic minority communities, to one of Vietnam’s most stunning natural landmarks: Thác Bản Giốc (Ban Gioc Waterfall). We will not drag you anywhere else but here. Spend the night at the stunning waterfall.
Day 10: From Ban Gioc To Quang Uyen
Don’t sleep in. The other part of Vietnam’s most awesome cycling tours is about to start. Be an early bird to discover the spectacular Bản Giốc Waterfall while being enthralled by nature. The gorgeous limestone layers of rock may then be observed as we travel from the accommodation to Quảng Uyên township upon this new border route, passing several Nùng and Tày ethnic villages.
You can tour their home, engage in conversation with the neighborhood, or take in one of their unique shows to learn more about their way of life. After that, we will bike on a bumpy route to Quảng Uyên township. You can stay at a local hotel and rest here.
Day 11: From Quang Uyen To Lang Son
By way of Đông Khê and Thất Khê towns, we begin our new biking day from the guesthouse to Lạng Sơn via the National route 4D.
While riding, you may see the sites of the historic battles at Thất Khê and Đông Khê, which were fought in 1950 over French troops and opened a new war of aid against them in 1954, leading to the freedom of all of Vietnam.
The cyclist may also take in the stunning mountain ranges, gorgeous rice terraces, plus alluring surroundings. We will have lunch on the road. Then, we traverse to Thất Khê before taking a pleasantly wavy route to Lạng Sơn. Your beautiful night on the 11th day will be in Lạng Sơn city.
Day 12: From Lang Son To Van Don
Today is the chance you can explore the thriving frontier city of Lạng Sơn. Another option is to visit the nearby market to witness the various Vietnamese and China agricultural products traded daily.
From the guest house, we begin to accelerate towards Vân Đồn Town. In the morning, we ride and appreciate unspoiled nature.
We begin by riding on hilly terrain before descending to Vân Đồn. It is endowed with marvelous natural beauty and fantastic sightseeing. The trip to the shore is virtually downhill. When you get to Vân Đồn, please check in and have a lovely meal here.
Day 13: From Van Don To Quan Lan
This is a wonderful day today.
First, we will ride to Cái Rồng wharf to warm up before boarding a high-speed ferry to quieter but beautiful Tra Ban Island. After arriving at the boat pier, we take a leisurely bike ride on an asphalt road, crossing rice fields on the way to Tra Ban center.
Next, we make a pit stop en route to present the present to a hospital, elementary school, and preschool. You and we are having a great time, without a doubt. We continue to explore the hamlet to discover about the day-to-day activities of the local anglers, meeting and conversing with several friendly families.
As we proceed, a boat will come to pick you up and take you to Quan Lan’s Minh Chau beach on the island’s opposite side. You may experience the untainted beaches and unspoiled wildlife here. After a full seafood lunch, you may want to ride around this area to see Quan Lan’s rich cultural heritage. After that, a barbecue meal at the hotel is waiting for you when you are hungry for dinner.
Day 14: Quan Lan Relaxing Time

Getting up and seeing the dawn on the sand will be wonderful. Enjoy the alone time while breathing clean air and observing the sky becoming lighter because the sun rises toward the east. You may participate in some leisurely pursuits like swimming or playing baseball with your loved ones.
The 14th day is your day, so no rush. Just enjoy. Your Vietnam cycling will end in the next two days, but a surprise is ahead of you.
Day 15: From Quan Lan To Hanoi
The 15th day welcomes you with a subtle morning cycle tour. Today’s road is straightforward. There is no up and down a road that confuses you. Just ensure to pack additional clothing, so if a wonderful beach catches your eye, you can go swimming immediately.
Your delicious lunch on the beach will fill up your stomach. Then, a small but smart tuk-tuk will pick you up and transfer you to Cai Rong (Van Don) port.
You will be taken back to our capital in our waiting car.
Day 16: Hanoi Welcomes You Back
Hanoi welcomes you back. This is the last day of our biking Vietnam trip.
Today will be a free day for you. We believe your last day in the capital will give you many pleasant surprises. Don’t just stay at the hotel until check out. Spend some time visiting the pedestrian street in the evening. You will see interesting activities. An amateur orchestra with delicate guitarists and powerful vocals will immerse you in Vietnam. Listen to our ethnic sounds in different neighborhoods to keep more good memories!
