3-Days Cycling Hanoi Halong Bay Cruise

Day 1: Hanoi – Phu Lang Ceramic Village – Bai Tu Long Vietnam Cycling Trip

The shuttle bus takes us from Hai Duong to Halong Bay, giving us an excellent opportunity to explore and take in the magnificent rice paddies in Northern Vietnam.

Once at the cycling location, adjust your bike, check your equipment, and become acquainted with the safety regulations for Vietnamese roads.

We begin to cycle as we travel through rural areas, passing serene towns and the banks of rivers while interacting with schoolchildren. A local market is another option where you can chat with pleasant locals and discover what they do for a living.

We head to the traditional ceramic village of Phu Lang, where you can admire beautifully crafted ceramics, paintings, and vases. Ceramic paintings with various topics and themes will notably attract your attention. Following the river’s edge, our cycling to Halong bay tour continues until turning off onto a small road to reach the rest stop.

After taking a break, we rejoin by bus and take a transfer to Halong Bay. Here, we will meet the rest of the cruise staff at the check-in location before boarding the boat for our three days and two nights of seeing Halong Bay. On the first day, lunch and dinner will be served on the boat.

Day 2: Cap La – Hai Quan – Vung Vieng – Thien Canh Son Biking Tour In Vietnam

Start your second day with a cup of tea or coffee and a glimpse of the Bay’s beauty while eating breakfast in the fresh air. Embark on a voyage to Vung Vieng to begin the day’s schedule.

Here you can watch the locals, travel past the floating classroom and fish farms, and visit the fishing village of Vung Vieng in a simple rowboat.

At about 10.30 in the morning, we will travel to Hon Co Island for swimming or relaxation. The well-kept secret of Thien Canh Son cave is worth exploring.

Depending on the weather conditions and location, we will have a BBQ lunch and some downtime on a nearby beach or in the Thien Canh Son cave.

After lunchtime, we will return to the junk for leisure cruising to the Cong Do area. Once arriving in the Cong Do area, you can take a dip in the water or go kayaking. On the second day, you will also have dinner and spend the night on board.

Day 3: Cong Do – Hon Gai Harbour – Hanoi Bike Tour Vietnam

Getting up early on the morning of the last day is advised so that you may enjoy the bay’s pleasant breezes and fresh air while eating breakfast on board.

You do have spare time today, up until 10 AM, for sunbathing and unwinding. A la carte lunch will then be served before we check out of the cabin and begin traveling towards the harbor.

We unload and reconnect with our driver and instructor after lunch. Transition to An Lap Village, we start our scenic ride to enjoy the breathtaking nature and everyday life. You may enjoy the pristine natural beauty and pleasant locals in North Vietnam.

Seeing Vietnam from different angles, we pedal past several ancient towns, majestic limestone mountains, refreshing forests, and luscious farmlands. Stop along the route to snap some amazing photos or to check out historic Buddhist temples in rural areas. We carry on through the hamlet until we reach the main highway in Dong Trieu, where we will then travel back to Hanoi.
