3-Day Cycling To Da Bac, Hoa Binh
Day 1: Hanoi, Hop Thinh, Da Bac, Cao Son, and Ban Sung Cycling Tour
After having a full breakfast in our accommodation, we were picked up by our guide, and we moved to Hoa Lac, where we began riding through yellow rice paddy fields located on lush mountains. We thought we were heading to heaven on earth as we were overwhelmed by breathtaking views.
Then, we crossed the Da River and arrived in Hoa Binh Province. We continued cycling on the buffalo trail, taking in rural and village life and the spectacular scenery. When we arrived in Da Bac Town, we had lunch with a local family.
Day 2: Ban Sung – Muc – Da Bia Bike Tour
We awoke early to admire the pure environment and wandered through a rural settlement to watch the everyday life of the local people. We warmed up after a delicious breakfast by strolling to one of the beautiful caves nearby to observe the spectacular stalagmite and stalactite.
We also visited Lanh Village and saw how traditional weaving clothes were made. With vividly colored silk threads, artists’ talented hands created lovely representations of their nation and origin.
Day 3: Da Bia – Ke Village Hien Luong – Da Bac – Hanoi Bicycle Trip
After breakfast, we said goodbyes to the host. It was a fantastic day on our cycling tour since we rode 30 kilometers on asphalt past hill tribal communities, corn fields, and a peaceful lake to Ke village. We also pedaled on a winding path to Da Bac town.
It was an incredible bicycle ride; we could experience the lovely landscape, meet pleasant people, and observe stunning lakeside. We had lunch in Ke Village before cycling the remaining 10 kilometers to Da Bac Town. Finally, we took a cab back to Hanoi at the end of the day.
