Leaving the busy city behind, we head to the city’s exterior. We ride along the bank of the Red River. It’s a single road. While riding, we’ll pass through lovely villages, lush green gardens, and beautiful farms. Visiting the Hai Ba Trung temple is our first destination. Later, we continue pedaling to reach Duong Lam Ancient Village. This agricultural village is famous for its long-lasting houses, featuring a Northern Red River Delta concept.

When in here, we’ll ride through old narrow alleys to visit Mong Phu hamlet. The unique architecture of the entrance gate’s hamlet, sculpturing heroes of Vietnam, remains well. We’ll talk and learn more about how Vietnamese farmers cultivate their land and daily lives. Besides, we’ll take a look at ancient houses. The oldest one dates back to approximately 400 years old, and the largest one has constructed 200 years ago.

After lunch, we explore the Mia Pagoda, constructed in the 15th century. Next, let’s visit Ngo QuyenTemple. Afterward, we pedal along a winding route, watching botanical gardens, lovely farms, and Xuan Khanh Lake, and reach National Park Ba Vi. Finally, we’ll wrap up our day of biking and head back to Hanoi.
