We started our cycling Northeast Vietnam tour by going on the bus to reach the cycling spot, escaping from the hectic city life. We hopped on our bikes and cycled to Son Duong town for lunch through picturesque countryside, charming towns, and breathtaking farmlands.

After a sumptuous lunch, we rode on our bikes to Tuyen Quang on the tarmac, then visited Vi Xuyen Town. On the way, you admired the poetic and charming natural scenery of the Northeast mountains and forests, with tea hills, palm forests, and terraced fields.

Afterward, we transferred to Ha Giang for check-in and enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Quang Ba – Yen Minh Cycling Trip

In the morning, we left downtown behind and cycled on a flat road through the landscape of terraced rice paddy fields. We kept cycling to view the enormous limestone mountain range with its vertical rock cliffs.

We were impressed by how friendly the local people were. From the pass, we could see the whole scene of rolling hills and mountains with white clouds floating gently. We had lunch in Quan Ba Valley and experienced the customs and traditions of ethnic minorities here.

After the meal, we started on our bikes to ride down the Gam river till we met another pass. We rode upward for a few kilometers before descending and cycling on pretty level terrain. It was an exhausting and difficult activity, but trust us, it was worth it.

After breakfast, we transferred to Lung Cu. We took electric vehicles to visit the flag pole and get a bird’s-eye view of the lovely surroundings and breathtaking mountains. After that, we descended to the riding point where our bikes were ready for the cycling day.

We took off on a gravel road, tackling some difficult mountains to Ma Le Valley and finally Dong Van Town. We resumed our journey to the Ma Pi Leng Pass. We were captivated by the magnificent sight of dazzling golden terraced rice fields. It was fantastic and great.

We continued cycling downhill for 16 kilometers over a twisty road to Meo Vac Town. We checked in at Meo Vac and then chilled with various activities.

Day 5: Meo Vac –  Mau Due  – Du Gia Cycling Tour

We left the hotel and jumped on our bikes on the tarmac road. Then we continued riding through a lovely road with breathtaking rocky mountain views to the Mau Due area.
